Monthly AcroYoga Jam: The Jungle Gym Jam

Welcome to the Jungle Gym Jam

Hey you animal-human! This month, get ready to dive deep into your animal self and let it come out to play! We’re creating a jungle gym filled with animal sounds, moves, and flows. An AcroYoga Jam with fur, feathers, hooves, and paws.

Now is the time to find your inner animal:

You can already start at  home: try out some sounds and movements 

and find the animal that you resonate with the most, and bring it to the party!

This means that not only will you bring the spirit of your animal self to the Jam, 

but also its physical characteristics So come, dressed in a way that we can recognize the kind of animal you are, 

and let’s see how all of these colorful beings mix together!

In case you picked a very shy animal, there is space for you to change at the location.

Let’s create an awesome happy Jungle Fever where all the animals come and play together!

This Jungle Gym Jam will be filled with animal moves, animal acro flows, 

and other things that only animal AcroYogis can come up with.

Practical Information In this guided and structured jam, Roald and Sam will guide you through the day.

We’ll start with an opening circle, warm-up games, lots of tips & tricks at your fingertips, 

and a Thai massage partner sequence at the end of the day.

This time, however, we also want you to make us SEE which animal you are! So bring your sounds and moves, 

the outfit of the animal you want to bring,

and whatever else you’d like to share.

What to expect If you’ve ever been to an AcroYoga class, jam or workshop, you know how much fun it can be: 

you’ve enjoyed the lighthearted playfulness, 

as well as the loving and authentic connection that you’re invited to make.

Expect a welcoming freestyle environment, where you can practice and play exactly how you like, 

for as long as you want.

This is a place to meet new friends, challenge yourself in a safe way, 

and connect from the heart.

For all levels The JAM will begin with a group ceremony to set the space and get your body and mind warmed up. 

After that, the space is open for you to explore what you'd like to learn.

We will be here to help you out, and during the jam, we'll bring moments of inspiration to show you new things. Apart from the teachers, you’ll also find that your fellow AcroYogis are happy to help you out with learning new things.

Where This JAM will take place in our own beautiful yoga shala in LOU. 

A super cozy yoga shala with a tiny rainforest of plants and lots of windows that allow sunlight. We have a maximum of 25 spots, so get your tickets on time.

Corona Guidelines If you wish to stick to one partner or buddy, you're super welcome too. 

We will check in advance who wants to physically connect and who doesn't,  

so we can create a space in which everybody feels safe.

Important: Please stay at home if you're not feeling well, let’s all take care of each other.

What & Who to bring √Yourself! No experience needed to join the fun. You can bring a partner if you like, but you don’t need one. 

You’ll find that making friends is easy when doing AcroYoga :) √A friend! √Comfortable clothing √Water, and a sweater √A healthy (veggie) snack to share during the potluck.
