Marijke van der Linde, teacher & owner Playful People Tribe
‘What if I fall? Oh, but my darling, what if you fly?’ AcroYoga guides me to overcome my fears. It helps me to build trust, in myself and others.
It reminds me that life can be playful, that learning can be playful. It shows me what I’m capable of. And what happens during the practice translates to my daily life.
It feels great to be able to teach this to others. I do this with a lot of enthusiasm and patience. Teaching playfulness and fun is the best job in the world.
AcroYoga came on my path after years of dancing, kickboxing, yoga, meditation, tantra. I instantly fell in love. The teamwork, the playfulness, the gracefulness, strength elements and healing arts: everything I love about movement of body & mind combined.
I've been in traineeship with Roald for several years before I started to co-teach and expanded my skills with AcroYoga immersions - in acrobatics and healing arts - Thai Yoga massage and Yin Yoga. I've completed the teacher training level 1 at AcroYoga Montreal & the 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga teacher training at YogaMoves.

I can’t imagine what my life would be like today if I didn’t go to that first AcroYoga class. But more important, I can’t imagine what my life would be like if I hadn’t met all the lovely people in this fantastic AcroYoga community. It brings me so much happiness every day.
I started AcroYoga at a difficult time in my life. It taught me to live in the moment, surrender, trust and that it’s ok to be 100% me. Every-time when I'm flying, I feel free! Because I can't think about other things 'than living in the moment’.
I feel so thankful that I can share the transformation AcroYoga can bring as a teacher! I really enjoy to challenge myself and my students, I enjoy the twinkle in their eyes when they're playing. If they are happy, I’m happy. It’s called ‘mudita’, an unselfish joy of happiness of others.
I’m a certified AcroYoga teacher (AcroYoga International) and besides that, I'm a pilates- and yogateacher and physiotherapist. I love sharing all my knowledge and experience about he body & mind with my students.

Jos is a dutch acro-teacher certified by different schools (AYI, AY Montreal and PartnerAcrobatics) and started teaching in 2018.
His strong connection with movement started at a young age and he was drawn to many kinds of extreme sports. He liked doing handstands and practised sports like skating, surfing and slacklining. Later on while travelling through Latin-America he discovered acroyoga and was hooked after his first try.
He did his trainings in Latin America and even though he is now based in the Netherlands, he likes to travel and teaches workshops abroad. In the beginning of his practise he mostly taught flows and washing-machines but in the last few years he trains more handstands, handtohand, whippops and icarians and he likes to combine them all.
Apart from acro he likes to freedive and learn new languages. Jos has an eye for detail and teaches with humor. Being a hybrid practitioner helps him to have a good idea of the technique of both base and flyer. Sharing his passion with students and friends brings him lots of joy.
“Connecting with people through acro, meeting people from different parts of the world and being able to play and teach together, makes me feel like I am travelling even when I am not. At the same time it often makes me feel at home when I’am travelling abroad. I hope to be able to return the warm family-feeling that I received through acro.”
