3-month AcroYoga Adventure level 2 - Intermediate Monkey Play

We have created a three-month AcroYoga Adventure for those committed to playful greatness ;).  

Have you been dreaming of flying washing machines like a graceful bird? Being a steady base? 

Or overcoming your fear of heights and building deeper trust?    

The things you believed to be far away as the moon will soon be at your fingertips. 

We’ll help you reach a lot (and maybe all!) of your personal and physical goals. 

With weekly – passionately given – classes, structured challenges and inspiring 

assignments for weekly partner play and daily solo practice.    

We’ll focus on fundamentals like tightness and lightness (core strength & balance) 

and softness (oh-so feathery feet and hand grip). 

We’ll teach you how to massage and stretch each other in refreshing gravity-defying ways. 

We’ll challenge you to try funky new transitions, washing machines, whips, 

and pops in a playful way: so be prepared to laugh and sweat. Fun guaranteed.    

You’ll build up strength, elegance, and flexibility.   

Develop more self-esteem and body awareness. Master new techniques. 

You’ll probably find an acro partner (or two). 

And, last but not least: you’ll be part of a creative, endorphin inducing, 

oxytocin overdosing, loving kindness-loaded tribe. 

So let’s fly high! The sky is (not) the limit.

12 classes from 19.00 to 22.00, consisting of:

—SKILLS REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION—  

It is required that you have mastered the prerequisite skills mentioned below at the start of the course.  

If you have any questions, please let us know as soon as possible.  

If you’re not able to perform these skills at the start of the course,   

we can unfortunately not admit you.    

SOLAR   

Tripod headstand  

Handstand against the wall for 30 sec.  

Handstand with spotter  

Front bird & Throne: Fly and base without a spotter, including Points of Contact  

Star: fly or base without a spotter  

Mono limb basing (One-legged) 

 

LUNAR   

Therapeutic Flying: 

Level 1&2 forward and backward flying without a spotter:  This includes Folded Leaf, 

Lifted Baddhakonasana, Superyogi, Easy Twist, Cannonball Mount, etc.

At the lovely LOU Oudenoord, close to the center of Utrecht.

A cozy yoga shala with plants and lots of windows that allow sunlight. 

Yoga mats, blankets, tea, and free parking are provided.

- CANCELLATION POLICY -

Unless otherwise stated in the event, cancellations are free up until 28 days before the event starts.

For cancellations up until 14 days before the event starts we will charge 50% of the total amount.

After this time, we will charge the full price.
